In the first few weeks of covid isolation I set up Ableton again and had some fun mixing tunes. This is a mix I’ve been wanting to get out for a long time. Big, fat progressive-house with a heavy groove. Some darkness, some light, and a little silly in places.
I wanted to incorporate the mood of the time. The world was changing, we were all sent home for months and things were uncertain. I also had a sense that I was going to have time and space for things that I often neglect. I’m the kind of person that enjoys some time alone, and part of me was happy for the opportunity to bury myself in some hobbies.
